Man Recorded Women in Bathroom at Nassau Business: Cops

The 20-year-old recorded himself placing the phone in the bathroom, police say.

GREAT NECK, NY – A 20-year-old man faces felony charges after he placed a recording cellphone in the bathroom of Nassau business, Nassau Police said Sunday.

Daniel Perez, of Queens, is charged with three counts of second degree unlawful surveillance.

According to police, Perez hid a cellphone in the women's bathroom at the Wego Chemical Group building located at 239 Great Neck Road in Great Neck. The cellphone was pointing at a toilet and set to record, police said.

A woman found the phone on Jan. 30 and when she played back the recording, she saw Perez recording himself as he was concealing the phone in the bathroom, police said.

Two other women were also found to have been recorded by the cellphone, police said.

Perez was arrested at his home on Saturday.
