Thomaston House Fire Injures 1 Firefighter Wednesday AM: FD

GREAT NECK, NY — Three fire departments responded to an early morning house fire in Thomaston Wednesday that left one firefighter with a minor injury, the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department reported.

Firefighters from Great Neck and New Hyde Park joined Manhasset-Lakeville to extinguish the blaze, located in the basement and first floor of the house. The fire, with "heavy smoke venting from the house," required multiple lines, the fire department said.

No other injuries were reported.
