• Town-Gown Awards honor housing, child care collaborations (cornell.edu) — Cornell’s latest Town-Gown Awards highlighted countywide partnerships on affordable housing and child care, and also honored retiring local officials including Town of Groton representative Don Scheffler. The ceremony celebrated collaborations that have created over 1,000 affordable housing units and expanded child care slots across Tompkins County, investments that can benefit Groton residents who work, study, or seek services in the greater Ithaca area.
