The healthy baby was delivered earlier this summer, according to a fire department spokesperson.

DIX HILLS, NY — A healthy baby boy was delivered this summer with some help from the Dix Hills Fire Department Rescue Squad.
The squad was dispatched to the home of the Giotta family on Aug. 25 for a call of active labor with the delivery of a baby imminent, said Steve Silverman, a public information officer.
The crew recently visited the family of Sylas Parker Giotta, who was brought into the world at 6:28 a.m. Aug. 25. He weighed in at 8 pounds and 12 ounces. This was the second baby for Jillian and Brandon Giotta, who also have a three-year-old daughter, Austin.
