Car Crashed into Fence in Dix Hills
Incident occurred Sunday near Half Hollow Hills High School West, officials say.
A car crashed through a chain-link fence on Wolf Hill Road at Melrose Road, near Half Hollow Hills High School West on Sunday.
Volunteers from the Dix Hills Fire Department were dispatched to the scene at about 2:40 p.m.
Under the command of Chief Robert Fling and Third Assistant Chief Joe Williamson, an ambulance, heavy rescue truck and paramedic responder were on the scene.

The driver of the car declined medical assistance, officials said.
