Dix Hills Blood Drive To Honor Daniela Conte, Girl Who Died Of Cancer
The Daniela Conte Foundation's blood drive, with the NY Blood Center, is scheduled for early March. Here's what you need to know.
DIX HILLS, NY — A blood drive honoring the memory of a young girl who died of cancer is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 9 in Dix Hills. The drive will be at St. Matthew's Church, at 35 North Service Road.
The Daniela Conte Foundation and New York Blood Center are hosting the event.
"By donating blood, you can help patients in need to make a difference in someone's life," the foundation wrote in an Instagram post. "Cancer patients are critical recipients of blood products. Plus, you will be honoring Daniela’s legacy and showing your support for pediatric cancer."

Appointments are required to donate but walk-ins are welcomed. People can make an appointment here.
