Driver Hurt After Minivan Crashes Into Tree In Melville
The crash occurred on Thanksgiving afternoon.
A driver was hospitalized after he crashed his minivan into a tree in Melville on Thanksgiving afternoon.
According to fire officials, the crash occurred on Bagatelle Road near Half Hollow Road at 4 p.m.
He was taken to Huntington Hospital by the Melville Rescue Squad to be treated for his injuries.

The Melville Fire Department responded to the scene with an ambulance, heavy rescue truck and paramedic unit.
Units were under the direction of Assistant Chiefs David Kaplan and Jason Bernfeld, according to PIO Steve Silverman.
