Man Hurt After Falling Into Empty Swimming Pool In Dix Hills
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
A worker suffered a leg injury after he fell into an empty swimming pool in Dix Hills on Wednesday.
According to fire officials, the man fell into a pool at a Carman Road residence at 12:10 p.m. The man was removed from the pool by fellow workers by the time responders from the Dix Hills Fire Department arrived to the scene.
Rescue crews treated the man at the scene. He was then taken to Huntington Hospital by Dix Hills Rescue Squad ambulance to be treated for a leg injury.

Firefighters responded to the scene with an engine, ambulance, first responder and paramedic unit. Units were under the direction of First Assistant Chief Alan Berkowitz, according to PIO Steve Silverman.
