Melville Church Looks To Identify Burglars

A Melville church is looking to identify burglars who were caught on surveillance footage on Monday morning.

According to church officials, Presbyterian Church of Sweet Hollow, located at 95 Old Country Road, was burglarized from 6 to 8 a.m.

The burglars stole a computer, electronic items (such as external hard drive, projector, laptop, etc.), keys to the church and financial information, the church says.

The thieves carried out a large black bag with the PC(USA) cross and the word "CREDO" embroidered on the bag.

"We would be glad for any leads," the church told Patch.
