Melville Firefighters Honored For 50 Years Of Service

Ex-Captain and Commissioner Wayne Eckstein and Ex-Captain Francis "Chip" Ferrari were recognized.

Two Melville firefighters were recently recognized for 50 years of service.

Ex-Captain and Commissioner Wayne Eckstein and Ex-Captain Francis "Chip" Ferrari were each presented with 50 Years of Service Awards by the Firemen's Association of the State of New York (FASNY) for their dedication to the department and community.

A congratulatory cake was served to the members at a meeting honoring Eckstein and Ferrari.
