Police Dog Missing In Dix Hills Area Has Been Located
Odin, a bomb sniffing dog, got out of his owner's yard on Monday. He has been found.
UPDATED: Odin, a police dog who went missing from his owner's Dix Hills yard on Monday, was found approximatley five hours later.
German Shepherd was found lying in the grass by the Long Island Expressway Service Road before 5 p.m. Odin got out of his owner's yard on Windward Court around 11:45 a.m.
Odin works at Port Authority as a bomb sniffing dog.

Odin is friendly and will come to you, his owner said in a Facebook post. Odin had his badge attached to him, according to the Northport Fire Department.
