Suffolk Police Officer Exam Information Seminar Coming to Huntington Station

The exam is offered once every four years; new info sessions just announced.

If you are interested in becoming a Suffolk County police officer, take note.

On June 13, the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service is offering an entrance exam for the police officer position, and an information session is coming to Huntington. This exam is offered once every four years.

The last day to file an application is April 1. Information and on-line registration is available at: JOINSCPD.com

In an effort to attract qualified candidates, Suffolk Police are offering informational seminars to explain the process of becoming an officer. Representatives from the Suffolk County Police recruitment unit, applicant investigation unit, and Civil Service will be in attendance.

The Huntington Station meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m., at South Huntington Public Library, at 145 Pidgeon Hill Road.

Registration is not required. Additional dates and locations to be announced.
