
A 78-year-old woman was killed and three others were injured in a two-car crash in Dix Hills on Thursday night, police say.
According to authorities, Kwon Sookcha, of Dix Hills, was a passenger in a 2016 Volvo, traveling westbound on Express Drive North, that was struck by a 2011 Honda, driven by 17-year-old East Northport resident Conor Travaglione, traveling northbound on Commack Road at 11:55 p.m.
Sookcha was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, where she died from her injures.

The driver of the Volvo, 50-year-old Holtsville resident Mijoung Lim, and another woman in the vehicle were taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore to be treated for minor injuries. Travaglione was taken to Good Samaritan to be treated for minor injuries.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.

The crash is under investigation. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
