• Man Who Hit, Killed Manorville Pedestrian After Drinking At Hampton Bays Bar Indicted: DA (patch.com) — A Manorville pedestrian was killed in August after a driver who’d spent hours drinking at a Hampton Bays bar allegedly struck him on County Road 111 and left the scene. Prosecutors say the Holtsville man tried to repair his truck quietly, but investigators traced the damage and bar visit, leading to an indictment on manslaughter, DWI, and related charges.
