15-Year-Old Shot In East Harlem, Police Say

The victim was shot in the stomach on Madison Avenue, police said.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A 15-year-old boy was shot in the stomach in East Harlem on Sunday, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the boy was shot in the stomach around 5:45 p.m. at 1634 Madison Ave., between East 109th Street and East 110th Street.

The boy was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside, where likely to survive, police said.

NYPD officials said that the investigation is underway, and no arrests have been made yet. NYPD officials did not say what led to the attack.
