32 Harlem Apartments Hit Affordable Housing Lottery

HARLEM, NY — Dozens of apartments in several Harlem buildings hit the city's affordable housing lottery this week, available to residents with annual incomes as low as $48,480.

The renovated units are spread across six Central Harlem buildings, collectively called Uptown 6. Apartment sizes range from studios to four-bedrooms.

Rents start at $1,350 for studios, $52,355 for one-bedrooms, $63,463 for two-bedrooms, $73,372 for three-bedrooms and $82,320 for four-bedrooms, according to the listing on Housing Connect.

All 32 units are open to residents making no more than 80 percent of the area median income — or no more than $63,680 for one person. The minimum income for a studio is $48,480.

The addresses for the six buildings are 118 West 139th St., 123 West 112th St., 30 West 132nd St., 281 West 118th St., 120 West 139th St. and 122 West 139th St.

Applications are open through Feb. 16, 2021.
