Affordable West Harlem Apartments For Sale In Housing Lottery

HARLEM, NY — Four apartments in West Harlem were listed for sale on the city's affordable housing lottery Wednesday, but families will need to make at least $61,000 per year to apply.

The listing at 508 West 134th St. includes a two-bedroom apartment available to households between two and five people, and three three-bedroom units, for households between three and seven people.

The two-bedroom apartment has an estimated sale price of $137,388, and applicants must make at least $61,000 combined. The maximum allowed income ranges up to $135,080 for a family of five, according to the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

The three-bedroom units have an estimated sale price of $156,194 each. Applicants must make at least $73,000, or up to $155,100 for a seven-person family.

The deadline to apply is Feb. 16.

The building is between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, and the units for sale are priced at 110 percent of the area's median income, according to HPD.
