Burglar Throws Brick Through Harlem Store Window, Police Say

The man robbed the 125th Street Foot Gear store overnight by breaking into the business with a brick.

HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a burglar who broke into a Harlem shoe store by shattering its windows, police said.

The unknown man threw a brick through a window at Foot Gear on West 125th Street between Amsterdam and Morningside avenues just after midnight on Thursday, Dec. 6, police said. After breaking the window, the man entered the store and removed merchandise before fleeing the scene.

Police could not share identifying details about the suspect, but did release a photo of the man taken by a store security camera. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a red hooded sweatshirt, a baseball hat, jeans and white sneakers.
