Death Of Teenager Found Slumped In Harlem Park Ruled A Homicide: NYPD

HARLEM, NYC — The death of a teenage boy found unconscious on a Harlem park bench last week is currently under investigation and has been classified as a homicide, police said.

On June 18, police officers were called to the corner of W. 149th St. and Bradhurst Ave. just before 12 a.m. for reports of an unconscious person, police said.

Tresaun Clements, 16, was found unconscious on the pavement of the park, according to police.

Medics rushed Clements to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced brain dead two days later.

Cops said on Monday night that the medical examiner has deemed Clements the victim of a homicide but offered no additional information on the incident.

An NYPD spokesperson said that there have been no arrests and that the investigation remains ongoing.
