During the gunfire, a round struck an M16 bus traveling eastbound on West 116th Street, shattering a window. Police reported that neither the driver nor the 12 passengers on board at the time were injured.

Police sources confirm that one perpetrator is believed to be responsible for all three shootings, with authorities describing it as a single shooting incident.

The gunman fled the scene before police arrived, and no arrests have been made since. An NYPD spokesperson confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
