Gunman Arrested For Harlem Bodega Shooting, Police Say
A Bronx man is facing murder charges in connection to an Aug. 4 shooting in Harlem.
HARLEM, NY — A Bronx man is facing charges in connection with an August fatal shooting that occurred in a Harlem bodega, police said.
Gregory Williams, 35, was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree murder, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a firearm, police said. Williams is accused of shooting 34-year-old Dwayne Buchanan, also of the Bronx, in a store on St. Nicholas Avenue near West 124th Street.
Buchanan was shot twice in the back at about 3:45 on the morning of Aug. 4, police said. EMS rushed the man to Saint Luke's Hospital, but he could not be saved, said police.

At the time of the shooting the NYPD had said it was investigating four suspects. Williams is the only person to be arrested in connection with the homicide.
