Harlem Restaurant Week Is Back For 2022: Here's Where To Eat

More than 40 Harlem restaurants are offering deals in this spring's Harlem Restaurant Week, which kicked off Sunday. Here's the scoop.

HARLEM, NY — Rejoice, food-loving Harlemites: Harlem Restaurant Week is back in 2022, offering special meal deals at dozens of neighborhood eateries.

The twice-annual event began Sunday and runs through March 27. It centers around discounted food specials like $25 lunches, $35 dinners and a $10 "Best Bite" option at the 44 participating restaurants.

"Now that people are feeling more comfortable venturing outside to dine at restaurants and enjoy other lifestyle activities, we wanted the Harlem Restaurant Week Spring campaign to showcase the numerous experiences available in the neighborhood in addition to Harlem's world class dining scene," said Nikoa Evans-Hendricks, executive director of Harlem Park to Park, which organizes the event alongside four other groups.

This year's participating eateries range from legacy spots like Sylvia's and Miss Mamie's Spoonbread to newer, trendy spots like Archer and Goat, Ponty Bistro, Red Rooster and The Botanist, housed within the new Manhattanville Market food hall at Columbia University's West Harlem campus.

Dine-in, takeout and delivery options are all available. (This isn't to be confused with New York City Restaurant Week, an annual event that happened earlier this winter and also featured dozens of Harlem spots.)

This spring's event is the 13th season of Harlem Restaurant Week, with co-organizers including Empire State Development, the Harlem Community Development Corporation, the New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Uptown Grand Central.

Also new this year is an invitation for diners to "double up" by stopping at a restaurant, bar or cafe before hitting up one of Harlem's cultural treasures like the Apollo Theater and El Museo del Barrio, or wellness venues and retailers like NiLu and Harlem Yoga Studio.
