Infant Boy Found Unattended In Harlem, Police Say

The child was found Thursday on West 132nd Street near Frederick Douglass Boulevard.

HARLEM, NY — The NYPD needs help reuniting an infant boy found unattended in Harlem with his guardians, police said.

The boy, who's age is unknown, was found around 11 a.m. on West 132nd Street near Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said. The child was taken to the hospital for evaluation after he was found, but police did not say the boy was injured.

The child (pictured above) has black braided hair and was wearing a white onesie when he was found. Police do not know the boy's identity or the identity of his guardians.

The NYPD's 32nd Precinct released a photo of the man last seen with the child:

Anyone with information about the man or the child is asked to call detective Jesus Capo of the 32nd precinct at (212) 690-6315.
