Stabbed Man Dies After Being Driven To Harlem Hospital: NYPD
The man was suffering stab wounds when he walked into the hospital. Police declared the death a homicide.
HARLEM, NY — A man who walked into Harlem Hospital suffering stab wounds died of his injuries in what police are calling a homicide.
Antoine Maxwell, 32, walked into the city hospital shortly after 1:45 Saturday morning, police said. The Bronx man was taken to the hospital in a car, but the driver did not stick around, police said.
Staff at the hospital rushed to save Maxwell, who was stabbed in his abdomen, but were unable to keep the man alive, police said. Police are investigating the Bronx resident's death as a homicide, but were unable to reveal details that led to his stabbing.
