Man Killed In Harlem Street Corner Shooting, Police Say
The man was shot early Monday morning on the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 146 Street.

HARLEM, NY — A man was found shot to death Monday morning on a Harlem street corner, police said.
Officers arrived at the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 146 Street around 2:20 a.m. to find a 40-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his right leg, police said. EMS took the man to Harlem Hospital where he died of his injuries, police said.
The man was not identified and the NYPD investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No suspects have been identified or arrested, police said.

Monday morning's shooting is the second murder recorded this year in the NYPD's 30th Precinct, which covers West Harlem, Hamilton Heights and Sugar Hill neighborhoods between West 133rd and 155th streets. There were also two murders recorded in the precinct by this time last year, according to the precinct's crime statistics as of June 2.
