Man Robbed, Assaulted On Central Harlem Street, Police Say

A man was robbed at gunpoint on a brownstone-lined Harlem block last month, according to police, who are looking for two suspects.

The 66-year-old man was standing in front of a brownstone building on West 120th Street between Malcolm X Boulevard and Mount Morris Park West around 9:30 p.m. on April 16, when the two unidentified suspects approached him.

HARLEM, NY — Two people assaulted and robbed a man at gunpoint on a Harlem street corner last month, according to police, who asked for help finding the assailants.

The 66-year-old man was standing in front of a brownstone building on West 120th Street between Malcolm X Boulevard and Mount Morris Park West around 9:30 p.m. on April 16, when the two unidentified suspects approached him.

After flashing a firearm, the two people physically assaulted the man and took $400 in cash from him, according to police.

The man was treated at the scene for minor cuts.

Police on Wednesday released blurry surveillance footage showing one of the suspects jogging down a street at night. Authorities asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
