Man Shot To Death At Harlem Public Housing Building, Police Say
The 41-year-old man was shot once in the head at the Drew-Hamilton Houses on Eighth Avenue and West 142nd Street.

HARLEM, NY — Police are investigating the murder of a man at a Central Harlem public housing complex, an NYPD spokesman said.
Officers arrived at the Drew-Hamilton Houses building on Eighth Avenue between West 142nd and 143rd streets early Saturday morning to find 41-year-old Sidney Sass suffering a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
Sass, who was unresponsive and unconscious when found, was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital, police said. Officers were responding to a report of shots fired in the area before finding the man's body, police said.

Police have not identified a suspect in the shooting and the investigation remains ongoing, an NYPD spokesman said.
