HARLEM, NY — A man was shot in the face while on a Harlem street corner Monday afternoon, police said.
The man, 61, was shot in the head just after 2 p.m. at West 154th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.
Cops responded to a 2:04 p.m. call about a shooting to find the man conscious, despite suffering a gunshot wound to his head, authorities said.

Medics rushed him to Harlem Hospital, where he remained in critical condition, police said.
