Man Sleeping On Harlem Subway Tracks Hit By Train: Police
A man was critically injured Tuesday when he was hit by a train at a Harlem station, the second such accident in two days.

HARLEM, NY — A man lying on the tracks at a Harlem subway station was hit and critically injured by a train on Tuesday, the neighborhood's second such accident in two days.
The collision happened around 7:52 a.m., as a northbound 1 train pulled into the 137th Street–City College station.
The train's operator said he saw a man sleeping on the roadbed underneath the platform. As the train advanced, the man rolled onto the middle of the tracks and was hit, police said.

The victim, believed to be around 39 years old, was in critical condition at Harlem Hospital Tuesday afternoon, police said. His identity was not released.
Tuesday's collision came one day after a man was fatally struck by a 3 train at the 125th Street–Lenox Avenue station.
