Man Who Kissed Child In Harlem Arrested, NYPD Says

On Saturday, the man sexually abused a child in East Harlem and then ran away, police said.

HARLEM, NY — The man who forcibly kissed and touched an 11-year-old girl in Harlem on Saturday has been arrested and charged, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, 42-year-old John Pinckney was arrested Wednesday morning in East Harlem, for kissing and touching an 11-year-old girl on East 125th Street and Madison Avenue on Saturday at around 3:15 p.m. and then running away.

On Wednesday, Pinckney was charged with sexual abuse in the first, second and third degrees, as well as one count of forcible touching, one count of harassment in the second degree, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.
