New Building Coming To Central Harlem Block
An empty lot just east of Morningside Park will soon be redeveloped with a six-story apartment building, according to city records.

HARLEM, NY — A vacant lot on a quiet Central Harlem block will soon be redeveloped into a six-story building, according to plans filed with the city.
The lot at 303 West 113th St., between Manhattan Avenue and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, has been vacant for years — at least as far back as 2009, according to Google Maps imagery.
The new building will stand 80 feet tall, with four apartments spread across six stories. A drawing included in the plans shows balconies on the four upper floors and a lot that extends back about 100 feet, including space for a 30-foot-long rear yard.

The listed owner is Jiren He, a director of development at Camp Eight Capital. It will be designed by the Midtown-based firm DHD Architecture.
It sits right across the street from 310 West 113th St., another residential building known as The Parkmor that recently underwent an expansion that added several upper floors.
