Man Hit, Killed By Train At 125th Street In Harlem: FDNY
A man was fatally struck by a train at the 125th Street-Lenox Avenue station on Thursday, causing subway delays just before rush hour.

HARLEM, NY — A man was hit and killed by a train at 125th Street in Harlem on Thursday, according to police.
Just before 4 p.m., the unidentified man was hit by a northbound 2 train at the 125th Street-Lenox Avenue subway station, according to an NYPD spokesperson. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man may have been struck while standing on the platform, according to police. There is no indication that he was the victim of a crime, but detectives are investigating what happened.

The crash affected service along the 2 and 3 lines just as rush hour was beginning. 3 trains were not running between 96th and 145th streets, while northbound 2 trains were running on the 5 line between Nevins Street and 149th Street-Grand Concourse, the MTA tweeted just after 4 p.m.
At least two other people have been struck and killed at the same station in recent months, including in February and last August.
