Person Killed After Being Struck By Train In Harlem, FDNY Says
A person was hit and killed Friday morning by a train at the 110th Street and Lenox Avenue station.

HARLEM, NY — A person was struck and killed by a train Friday morning in Harlem, an FDNY spokeswoman told Patch.
The person was hit at the West 110th Street and Lenox Avenue station around 6:30 a.m., an FDNY spokeswoman said. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the person dead, fire officials said.
An FDNY spokeswoman could not confirm details about the person's age or identity.

Train service on the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 lanes was affected due to the emergency response at the 110th Street station, MTA officials said. Transit officials warned passengers to avoid those heavily-used lines during the Friday morning commute.
