Plans Filed For 10-Story East Harlem Development

The new building will feature ground floor retail space and 17 apartments.

EAST HARLEM, NY — Developers have filed plans to build a new 10-story, mixed-use development in East Harlem, according to city records.

The development will rise 93-feet-tall at 2150 Second Ave. between East 110th and 111 streets, according to plans filed with the city Department of Buildings. The development will feature ground floor retail space and 17 apartments, according to the plans.

With 13,284 square feet of residential space, the average apartment in the building will be about 781 square feet large, according to building plans. Two apartment units will be located on each of the building's floors, except for the top floor which will have only one unit, according to building plans.

Information about pricing for the apartments has not been released.

The development will not feature many residential amenities. An outdoor recreation space on the building's roof is the only amenity listed in building plans. The retail space on the building's first floor will be about 1,763 square feet large and a tenant has not been announced.
