Plans Filed To Build Apartments On Vacant East Harlem Lot
The new six-story building will rise on a vacant lot on East 117th Street between First and Pleasant avenues.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A Queens-based developer has filed plans with the city Department of Buildings to construct a new apartment building in East Harlem, according to public records.
The new development will rise 65-feet-tall on a currently-vacant lot on East 117th Street between First and Pleasant Avenue, according to building plans. The six-story building will contain 11 apartment units and its 10,070-square-feet will be zoned entirely for residential use, according to the plans.
The apartment building will have two units on the first through fifth floors and one unit on the sixth floor, according to development plans. The building will also feature a recreation room and a storage area for five bikes. The average apartment unit int he building will be about 915 square feet large.

The developer behind the new apartment building is listed as an anonymous entity called 407 East 117 Jv LLC, according to public records. The holding company is based in Jamaica, Queens. The designer for the development is listed on building plans as Arc Architectures + Design Studio.
