Purse Robber Steals $2K From Woman In Harlem, Police Say

Police say that the woman was shoved to the ground during the robbery.

HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for a man who grabbed a 59-year-old woman's purse, forced her to the ground, and stole $2,000 in Harlem, New York City Police Department officials said on Friday.

According to the NYPD, the robbery happened in front of 625 West 124th St. on Dec. 9 at 9:50 a.m.

After the man robbed the woman, he took off on foot and was last seen entering the 168 Street subway station wearing a black jacket, grey sweatshirt, dark blue sweatpants, black sneakers and a black face mask, police said.
