Renderings Depict 8-Story Harlem Development: Report
The renderings tease retail clients such as Zara, Gucci and Burberry.

HARLEM, NY — New renderings offer a glimpse at a large new development set to rise on the corner of Seventh Avenue and West 140th Street.
The renderings, which were first spotted by neighborhood blog Harlem Bespoke, depict a two-tiered eight-story building with a ground floor wrapped by retail tenants. The renderings show apartment balconies overlooking the street and tease luxury retail tenants such as Zara, Burberry and Gucci. The new development will be built on a site one-occupied by a fish market.
Plans to construct the new building were filed by developers in 2016. The development will rise 80-feet-tall and contain 57,505 total square feet. Space in the building will be divided into three uses: residential, commercial and community facility. The residential portion will be the largest, totaling 39,431 square feet, followed by 9,418 square feet of commercial space and 8,656 square feet of community facility space.
