Teen Robbed At Gunpoint In East Harlem Apartment Building: NYPD

Two teen girls followed the victim into an East Harlem apartment building before pulling a gun.

EAST HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two teenage girls wanted in connection with an East Harlem armed robbery, police said.

The two suspects followed a 17-year-old boy into an apartment building located near East 102nd Street and First Avenue on Monday night and pulled a gun on the boy and demanded his property once inside, police said. The victim handed over his coat, cell phone, wallet and earphones, police said.

One of the teen suspects acted as a lookout while the other threatened the victim with the gun, police said. The two suspects fled the building and have avoided arrest. Both of the suspects are described as standing 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 and being either 17 or 18 years old, police said.

The victim was not harmed during the robbery.
