Video shows five people rounding a corner in Hamilton Heights and firing a barrage of gunshots before sprinting away. Police asked for help.

HARLEM, NY — Five people opened fire on a Hamilton Heights street corner early Tuesday, an incident that injured nobody but was captured on video, according to police.

Video shows the five unidentified men creeping around the corner of Broadway and West 151st Street just before 3 a.m. Tuesday.

As they round the corner, all five people break into a run, pull out handguns and fire shots down West 151st Street, the video shows. After getting off a few shots, the group doubles back and runs toward Broadway.

Police did not specify whether the group was firing at anyone in particular.

There were no injuries, but three parked and unoccupied cars suffered damage from the gunfire, including one with a bullethole and two with broken glass, police said.

The five people are wanted for reckless endangerment, police said. Authorities shared the surveillance footage and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
