Woman, Child Hit By Car, Critically Injured In Harlem: Police
A driver mounted a Harlem sidewalk and struck a woman and a six-year-old boy Monday morning, critically injuring both of them, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A driver veered onto a Harlem sidewalk Monday morning and struck a woman and a boy, critically injuring both of them, police said.
The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of West 145th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard.
The 38-year-old woman and six-year-old boy had been walking along the sidewalk when the driver, a 68-year-old man, mounted the curb and hit both victims.

The woman and boy were rushed to Harlem Hospital, where they remained in critical condition as of Monday afternoon, according to an NYPD spokesperson. The unidentified driver was also hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
The driver initially stayed at the scene and no arrests have been announced, though the crash is under investigation by the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad, police said.
