Woman Swipes Cash-Filled Envelope In Harlem Beauty Parlor: Police
The woman grabbed the envelope and bolted out of the West 125th Street business.

HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a woman that stole an envelope full of cash from a West 125th Street beauty parlor, police said.
The woman entered Complete Beauty, located between Amsterdam and Morningside avenues, on January 8 and received a hair treatment, according to security footage released by police. After her appointment, the woman searched through a 56-year-old woman's purse left by the salon's door and grabbed an envelope stuffed with $3,000 in cash, police said.
After swiping the envelope, the woman bolted out of the business and fled in an unknown direction, police said.

The woman is described as standing 5-foot-8 and was last seen wearing a black coat and black pants, police said. The NYPD released photos of the suspect (seen above) on Wednesday.
