Breeze Airways Adds West Coast Nonstop Routes from Westchester Airport

WESTCHESTER, NY — Avoiding New York City airports just got a little easier for Westchester County flyers.

Breeze Airways, a new low-fare airline created by JetBlue founder David Neeleman, is adding eight routes from Westchester County Airport (HPN) this year. The new flights will include nonstop service to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Charleston, Norfolk, Jacksonville and Savannah. The airline will also introduce a one-stop flight to New Orleans, with no connection required.

Current commercial air service from Westchester only serves as far west as Chicago. The top two destinations from the New York metro area, Los Angeles and San Francisco, will now have daily nonstop service from HPN. Breeze will add 6 of the 15 biggest markets currently not served nonstop from Westchester: Los Angeles (1), Jacksonville (3), Charleston (8), San Francisco (10), Las Vegas (12) and Savannah (13).

Breeze also announced new service between New Orleans to Savannah, plus Hartford’s Bradley International to Las Vegas, the airline’s 8th new route from Hartford announced this year now for a total of 11 nonstop destinations.

• Las Vegas — Daily, starting Sep. 8, (from $149)
• New Orleans, LA (one-stop service, Thurs., Sat., Sun., starting June 30; Fri., Mon. starting Sep. 9)
• Savannah, GA (Fri., Mon., starting Sep. 9, (from $79)
• San Francisco, CA (Daily, starting Nov. 2, (from $149)
