Decision 2022: Harrison Patch Election Guide

The polls open at 6 a.m. on Tuesday for the historic general election. Here's what you need to know to make your voice heard.

HARRISON, NY — The general election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8 with polls open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. That is, if you didn't take advantage of early voting.

Voters can find polling places and learn about absentee ballots, from the county’s Board of Elections.

For additional voting information, visit Vote411, an interactive website created and maintained by the League of Women Voters. The site supplies personalized ballots and polling locations simply by entering the voter's home address.

Nov. 8, 2022 General Election Absentee Ballot Information:

  • Nov. 8 is the last day to postmark the General Election absentee ballot by mail. The ballot must be received by the Board of Elections no later than Nov. 15.
  • Nov. 8 is the last day to deliver the General Election absentee ballot in person to the Board of Elections or at any poll site throughout the county, by the close of the polls on election day.

Voters will choose among candidates for national, state and local offices, as well as state and local ballot questions.
