Lottery Opens For New, Affordable Apartments At Alexan Harrison
Rents at the newly constructed buildings range from $1,956 for a studio to $2,842 for a 3-bedroom, for those meeting income requirements.

HARRISON, NY — Yet another new chance for renters to combat the ongoing affordable housing crisis is here for a lucky few in two newly constructed buildings in Westchester County.
Westchester Residential Opportunities has announced that Alexan Harrison, two newly constructed buildings located at 3-5 Westchester Park Drive in Harrison, will have 23 fair and affordable units. Building A will have five stories, while Building B will have six stories.
First occupancy is expected in November, with completion to take place in stages.

Amenities will include a state-of-the-art kitchen with granite counters, a full-size stacked washer/dryer, a pool, a clubhouse fitness center, a tech center, a courtyard with firepit and grills, a pet-washing station, package service and bike storage. This is a no smoking complex.
Affordable units will be available to those earning less than 80 percent of the area average monthly household income.

- Studio (three units available): $1,956 for household of one
- One-bedroom (seven units available): $2,083 for household size of one to three
- Two-bedroom (12 units available): $2,483 for household size of two to five
- Three-bedroom (one unit available): $2,842 for household size of three to six
The maximum income limits by household size are:
- one-person household: up to $87,500
- two-person household: up to $99,950
- three-person household: up to $112,500
- four-person household: up to $124,950
- five-person household: up to $134,950
- six-person household: up to $144,950
Residents are responsible for electric, gas, trash, and water/sewer.
Reasonable accomodations to applicants and tenants with disabilities can be made upon request to management.
The Alexan Harrison is located close to Wegmans, Whole Foods Market, the White Plains Farmers Market, Life Time Fitness, Saxon Woods Park, The Westchester Mall, Bowlero, KEE Oyster House, Emma's Ale House, La Botte Ristorante and Serafina Italian Restaurant. There is easy access to I-287 and I-684, along with a shuttle to the White Plains Metro-North train station.
These buildings are zoned for the Harrison Central School District.
The deadline for applications is September 11, 2024, at 4 p.m. Selections will be made by lottery on September 26, 2024, at 11 a.m. Sending more than one application may disqualify you.
