An iconic venue rooted in history

Designed by the renowned architect Stanford White, Reid Castle’s history of hosting events began with the marriage of New York Tribune owner Whitelaw Reid and his wife, Elizabeth. In 1888, the pair envisioned transforming their country home into the legendary architectural and landscaping landmark it remains today.

Reid Castle features a marbled reception hall and grand rooms inspired by French chateaux, evoking the timeless sophistication of the Gilded Age. Surrounding the castle are grounds designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the mastermind behind New York City's Central Park. Reid Castle also has beautiful views of the Long Island sound.

Reid Castle offers an array of rooms to meet the unique needs of business events, including:

• The West Room: A spacious venue accommodating up to 180 guests with multi-directional seating, AV capabilities, and customizable lighting.
• The Ophir Dining Room and Annex: Ideal for gatherings of up to 90 guests, featuring breakout space, AV capabilities, multi-directional seating, and access to the patio and rose garden.
• The East Library: Perfect for up to 90 attendees, with AV capabilities and directional seating.
• The President's Dining Room: An intimate setting for up to 18 guests, with AV capabilities.
