HARRISON, NY — Hundreds of new Harrison residents will soon be able to move into a park-like development in a quiet corner of town that is just minutes from nearly everywhere.

The NRP Group, a developer, builder, and manager of multifamily housing, in collaboration with Rye Brook-based owner-operator RPW Group, announced on Monday the groundbreaking of a 200-unit luxury multifamily development in Harrison. The companies say that the project will include a mix of studio, one - and two-bedroom residences.

"We look forward to enhancing Harrison’s vibrant community with our latest luxury residential project," Jonathan Gertman, Senior VP of Development at The NRP Group, said. "Located in a highly desirable neighborhood, this development will offer ample green spaces and integrate beautifully designed architecture with top-notch amenities. This project underscores NRP’s commitment to creating exceptional living spaces and provides an attractive alternative living option for working professionals in Westchester County.”

"We are thrilled to see this project move forward on a site we highly value for its natural beauty and ideal location," Andrew Weisz, President of RPW Group, said. "Our partnership with The NRP Group is crucial to realizing our vision to honor the site’s potential and to provide quality homes that embrace indoor-outdoor living."

The building, designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, will be LEED Silver certified. The developers say that the building will be designed with high-end finishes and amenities, and that residents will be able to enjoy a state-of-the-art gym, an indoor lounge area for social gatherings, a shared workspace with individual work pods, an indoor dining room, a commuter coffee lounge, and a kids' playroom.

There will 30 studios, 75 one-bedroom units, 11 one-bedroom dens, and 84 two-bedroom units. Five percent of units at the project are reserved for residents earning less than 80 percent of the area median income.

NRP says that this development illustrates the company's growth in the tri-state area, building on the success of previous Westchester County projects such as The Halden, a market-rate community with 303 homes finished in 2023, and Renaissance at Lincoln Park, an affordable housing development with 178 homes and a brand new Boys & Girls Club that opened last month.

Construction at 1 Webb Avenue is expected to be completed in the fall of 2026.
