New Nonstop Flights To Vero Beach From Westchester County Airport

WESTCHESTER COUNTY — Getting away from it all is about to get a little bit easier for Westchester County snowbirds. Elite Airways has announced the addition of nonstop flights to Vero Beach from Westchester County Airport starting March 30.

The new service begins Wednesday, March 30 and flights will be offered weekly, with fares starting at $299 each way. Early bird, value, premier, elite and first-class tickets are being sold.

Elite Airways already offers service from Westchester County Airport to Portland, Maine, Melbourne, Florida and Sarasota, Florida. This latest announcement is part of a larger rollout of Elite Airways' expanded schedule along the east coast and Florida as leisure air travel continues to rebound.

The President of Elite Airways, John Pearsall said Elite Airways is especially pleased to be back in Vero Beach with nonstop service to Westchester County Airport.

"Vero Beach has been an integral part of our spring and summer expansion plans now that runway rehabilitation at VRB is complete," Pearsall "We'd like to thank airport and city officials and the community for their continued support as we look for additional opportunities to expand service at VRB in the coming year."

The initial schedule for the new weekly flights from Westchester County Airport to Vero Beach is set for the season:

• Westchester County Airport (HPN) to Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRN): departs HPN 11:30 a.m., arrives VRN 2:00 p.m.
• Vero Beach Regional Airport to Westchester County Airport: departs VRN 8:00 a.m., arrives HPN 10:30 a.m.
