HAUPPAUGE, NY — A crash on the westbound lanes of state Route 454 near Hauppauge closed multiple lanes during the rush hour commute Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 6:45 a.m. Thursday near Northfield Road, according to the state Department of Transportation. The right and center lanes were closed.
