Holocaust Survivor to Speak at Hauppauge Temple

Ruth Meador will share her incredible life story of being rescued by the Kindertransport.

Holocaust survivor Ruth Meador will tell her awe-inspiring story of rescue by the Kindertransport on April 7 at 7 p.m. at Temple Beth Chai of Hauppauge.

Meador has shared her story with many audiences over the past 20 years. This time, she will speak on Yom HaShoah, also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day. Her moving story touches the soul, and aims to remind audiences that acts of kindness and humanity are possible during a time of great sadness and horror.
