Israeli Boy and Girl Scouts Performing at Temple Beth Chai
The teens will sing, dance and entertain audiences June 30.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts from Israel will be performing at Temple Beth Chai of Hauppauge next month. Â
The scouts are part of the Friendship Caravan Moriah, a group of Israeli Scouts sent to America each summer to expose audiences to the diversity of the State of Israel by performing songs in Hebrew, English and Yiddish. The teens aim to bring Israeli culture and a message of friendship through song and dance. Â
Selected from thousands of applicants, the 106 Israeli youths and their adult leaders have fundraised their way to America. The Israeli Friendship Caravan Moriah, consisting of 10 youths and 2 leaders, will be performing at Temple Beth Chai, 870 Town Line Road, Hauppauge, on June 30 at 6 p.m. for a $5 donation. Scouts in uniform are free. Â
For tickets and more information about the performance, contact Bruce Streger at (631) 981-0453 or email at WB2ADF@aol.com or call the Temple Beth Chai of Hauppauge office at (631) 724-5807.Â
